About Give-a-Weigh

Our mission is to help raise money for individuals and families who are in need and at the same time provide extra motivation and accountability for those who are trying to lose weight. Specifically, we built this website to benefit Margaret Manning (who is suffering from Mantle Cell Lymphoma) and Christian and Stephanie Nielson (who received nearly fatal burns in a private plane accident).

The idea for the website came from Jeremy Lindblom who was trying to figure out a way to motivate himself to lose weight and also figure out a way to help the Manning and Nielson families financially with his limited budget. Somehow, the two thoughts joined together, and Give-a-Weigh was born. With some help from his coworkers, he was able to build the website.
