My clothes are getting too tight, I feel sluggish and unhealthy and my wife doesn't look at me the same way as she used to. That means… it's time to shed some of these extra pounds. I've lost weight before. I know what I should eat and not eat, and I know how to exercise. However, with my recent work schedule, sleep schedule, school schedule, and frequent lunches on Mill Avenue, I have thrown my health into a dangerous spiral. It's time to climb out of that and get back into shape… a shape other than nebulous blob.
Also, I've been thinking about something I could do to help Christian & Stephanie Nielson (my cousins) and Margaret Manning (from church). This website and the desire to be accountable with my weight loss have become the product of that desire to help. I hope you will sponsor my weight loss and support these two families.
During Winter and Spring 2007 I was able to go from 215 lbs to 175 lbs. I will be using similar techniques as I used then to accomplish my weight loss this time around. The rules I'll live are these:
I am a Web Developer from Mesa, AZ. I work for Synapse Studios in Tempe, AZ, building websites and web applications. I will graduate from ASU in August with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and will continue working for Synapse Studios. Aside from computers, I am interested in music. I love to sing and perform (especially Broadway-style) and play the piano and keyboard. Right now I'm playing keyboard and singing backup in the band, Regular Heroes. I am married to a beautiful red-head, Penny, and we are currently living in the upstairs of her parents' house. You can visit my website for more information about me, my work, etc.
